RMH

Howdy gentle readers. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then I am about to get wordy.
Thought you might like to see a snippet of my recent pilgrimage to a little piece of heaven on earth.

I hope you enjoy it.

Ok... you're making me jealous. I need to get back to the Rockies someday...

Great pics, Mark. Thanks for sharing them, bro.

Well said, dear sir, well said.

Did you seriously see that huge bull elk on top of the mountain? My jaw was dropped the rest of the video! What a great picture!

Thanks for sharing.

Mom, that elk was impressive, and you can see him right where we left him. He is a statue on a hill in Del Norte. But the way he was silhouetted against the sky its hard to tell in the picture that he is not real.

Well, that explains it. I just may have to take the cowboy to Del Norte and check out that elk.

Wow! Thanks for sharing, Mark.
I've only been to the Rockies once, and that just wan't near enough.

And John Denver? perfect.
Brings back my childhood.

Mine too Pinky. I had a couple of JD 8-tracks that I pretty much wore out. Now I find I am buying them again on ITunes.

My little sister emailed me about this entry. It caused her to recall when I was still in high school. My room was in the basement, and little sister used to lie on the floor of her room, ear to the floor, listening to me playing Rocky Mountain High....I never knew.

Loved the video. I really liked the way you matched up photos to the words of the song. Nice touch.
